Competency Assessment with Certificate

We offer a competency assessment at the end of the course which is completed by a virtual session with a standardized patient. The learner receives:
  • immediate feedback and mentoring from the health coach expert
  • assessment of MI proficiency using the Motivational Interviewing Competency Assessment (MICA), a validated and standardized tool
  • a formal written feedback report
  • a certificate with demonstrated MI competency level

 

CE Credits

Health Coaches

  • This course is eligible for 14 continuing coach education hours (CCEHs) towards the Wellcoaches core and professional coach certifications
  • This course is eligible for 14 hours of credit towards the educational credits needed for the International Association of Health Coaches certification process
