Introduction to Motivational Interviewing
Content:
The content for this course is based on Miller & Rollnick’s Motivational Interviewing: Helping People Change, 3rd Edition.
Platform:
This online course was developed using the Articulate Storyline 360 platform, which creates a dynamic, interactive experience for the learner. Participants will not only learn concepts and strategies in an engaging way, they will be able to apply and practice their skills.
Healthcare Applications:
The course uses multiple and diverse examples from a wide range of healthcare topics, settings and populations. In addition, we have several course variations and can provide you with a course tailored most closely to your practice setting and staff roles.
Timeline:
The course takes an average of 12-14 hours to complete, including practice activities. Although, the learner may begin anytime and work through the course at their own pace, many users have found it helpful to pace themselves with one module per week to give them time to absorb the material and practice strategies.

This course is eligible for 14 continuing coach education hours (CCEHs) towards the Wellcoaches core and professional coach certifications
